While my nieces and nephew joined our boys over Christmas Break for some back yard sledding, I baked a quick batch of cookies, and laid out this Hot Chocolate Bar. What Does the Fox Say was still popular so my cookie jar from Target became a focal piece along with the poinsettia (that is amazingly thriving even as we look upon February around the corner). I love the red and teal together. Marshmallows, chocolate chips, and whipped cream “do it yourself” style was a hit. Marshmallow bits (like you find in your Lucky Charms) are available in the baking aisle of our local Meijer store. The cups were my grandmas, but the nesting bowls were also from Target. You cannot see them well here, but they match the fox (teal, grey and a maize color).
