Just a short drive on I94 (or an easy train ride ) away from Southwest Michigan is Chicago. And who doesn’t love being taken out to the ol’ ball game at Wrigley Field!!! Just one of the MANY things to do when you live in Southwest Michigan. Just take a day, or make it a mini get away! Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, House of Blues, the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, Water Tower Place (shopping) a Chicago Style hot dog or some deep dish Chicago style Pizza, Hard Rock Café, and Harry Carey’s then a buzz up and down the Chicago River in the water taxi are all some of our favorites! St. Patrick’s Day was a blast a couple of years ago (it was on a Saturday – so we made an impromptu train trip!!!) There is always something new to see and do in Chicago. I am a personal fan of the tours – while I wasn’t as fond of the Architecture Tour, I love the hop on and hop off City Trolley Tour and the Haunted Chicago!!! I think I’ll put the Gangster Tour on my Chicago Bucket List for summer!!! Pictures and Links to come soon!
