(Our football team played in a regional game Friday and we are not allowing costumes in school – so Friday was wear your school spirit gear and Happy Halloween – be safe trick or treating!)

Red Ribbon Week was the week we concluded our ASCA standard lessons:

Lessons came from the Michigan Model for Health Curriculum on Drug and Alcohol Safety / Prevention (Grades 5-8)

ASCA Standards taught – check

We wrapped up the week with a great Gateway Drugs Action Pack from Human Relations Media that summarized our lessons on Marijuana, Alcohol, Inhalants and Tobacco.
