Strawberry Rhubarb Dump Cake

I may have just found my all time favorite dessert. It definitely tops my list of spring desserts. It is a hard act to follow. A few simple ingredients, no mixing, SUPER EASY!! I served it for Easter Dinner this year and it completely fit the theme of classy but simple!!

Ingredients:

Put ingredients in a 9×9 baking dish sprayed with cooking spray in the order given (do not mix, spread evenly)

  • 2 cups of cubed rhubarb (raw) /about 2 large stalks
  • 2 cups of cubed strawberries /about 1 qt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (3 oz) package of strawberry Jello

Let sit for about 20-30 minutes then…

  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine or butter

Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.

Delicious served warm with ice cream!

All in all, I am pretty sure that God made strawberries and He made rhubarb and He fully intended us to eat it together, like this!
