I may have just found my all time favorite dessert. It definitely tops my list of spring desserts. It is a hard act to follow. A few simple ingredients, no mixing, SUPER EASY!! I served it for Easter Dinner this year and it completely fit the theme of classy but simple!!

Ingredients:
Put ingredients in a 9×9 baking dish sprayed with cooking spray in the order given (do not mix, spread evenly)
- 2 cups of cubed rhubarb (raw) /about 2 large stalks
- 2 cups of cubed strawberries /about 1 qt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (3 oz) package of strawberry Jello
Let sit for about 20-30 minutes then…
- 1 white cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted margarine or butter
Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.
Delicious served warm with ice cream!
All in all, I am pretty sure that God made strawberries and He made rhubarb and He fully intended us to eat it together, like this!
