I am really fond of this series called Auto B Good. I use the public school series. There is a Christian series available also. Many of the episodes are available on You Tube (PLEASE always view any segment on YouTube in it’s entirety before showing to children). The series has done a great job taking specific characteristics and building an episode (about 10 minutes on average) for each trait. The episodes can stand alone, or when used together do connect. The characters are simple and likeable and remind me a lot of Lightening McQueen and his pal, Mater. I use the series with third grade and build some common core activities and character education discussions into our lesson. The kids love the series and are always asking me to come in and do more lessons, or asking when they can see another! I have seen it used as young as kindergarten, but personally feel it is better suited for older children.
